Let me give a run down of how the school district will keep this latest scandle covered up. First, anyone who calls the county office and asks for answers someone sitting in a comfortable padded chair will say, "This is a personel problem that we can't discuss. I beg to differ. The personel involved are paid with tax payer dollars. The people of Jones Co. have every right to know. A better reason we should know deals with our children. Do we really want teachers who can't control their sexual urgers in the classroom? Will these teachers be fired or moved around within the district similiar to the way pedophiles were moved around in the Catholic Church. These questions need to be answered and quickly. The safety of our children depends on it.
The second step in the cover up, will involve closed meetings. At their monthly board meetings, anyone who wants to address this issue will be denied to speak and if they demand that right the board will immediatly go into excutive session. Cowards love to hide behind closed doors.
The third and final step will involve the school attorney. The superintendent and school board will be mute as lambs on the issue and allow the school attorney to do all their talking. If I'm not mistaken the people elected the board not their lawyer. They should answer any and all quetions related to this alleged shameful act.
Some people in the community are so fed up with the corruption in the district, that they have started writing and calling the state department of education. They want the school board and superinedent to be investigated for unethical conduct. I totally agree and am asking the people of Jones Co. to participate in this effort. Can we really afford to wait for election time to get rid of these unethical men? The time to act is now before a new school year begins.
In the meantime, people need to attend school board meetings, write and call the county office and demand answers. Don't let them sweep these allegations under the rug. We must find out the truth. Questions need to be answered. How will this situation be handled? What will happen to the teachers involved? What other things are going on within the district that needs to be exposed?
We now that if the people involved were not kin to a school official or a coach, they would have been fired on the spot.
Below is contact information to the county office and the state department of education. Writes letters, call and demand that these unethical men be investigated for the sake of our children. Remember when good people sit back and do nothing evil thrives.
