In a recent article in the Leader Call (See last blog for article.) school board member Lester Boyles praised Superintendent Steve Thrash for the job he is doing in the district.
Mr. Boyles is apparently out of touch with the people of Jones County as many have expressed their dissatisfaction with the actions of Mr. Thrash. This is very similiar to the way President Obama is out of touch with the American people. Like many democrates in Congress have rubber stamped the President's agendas such as health care so has Mr. Boyles rubber stamped the personal agendas of Steve Thrash and Harlon Matthews.
The fact that Mr. Boyles supports a superintendent that has fallen from grace with the people proves his lack of connection with or concern for the people of Jones County. Mr. Boyles has never stood against any of the unethical decisions made by Thrash or Matthews. (IF I'm wrong let the record prove it. If you can pry the board minutes from Terry Caves' corrupt hands.)
Fact is the people are tired of politics as usual in the district and we'll soon see if this dissatisfaction will carry over to the polls tomorrow. Remember to vote and vote with our children in mind and what's best for them.
